SHADOWS OF TWILIGHT ~
Twilight shades of Summer and sweet memories of you
Your Blue Green Eyes and soft pink cheeks,
the color of the Sky
Clouds gently roll across the Sky and show a hint of blue
When I hold you in my arms -
I'm so happy I can cry
Silver shadows on the clouds shimmer, and fade so slow
Dancing in and through the mist - like celestial Children playing
A defiant ray of light breaks through, daylight doesn't want to go
Reluctantly the day is gone - twilight fades, nighttime sure is staying
I feel the warm and gentle breeze, brushing through my hair
I think of you and tender lips - your hand around my waist
I think of you most all the time and the love we have to share
I cherish each and every kiss and want to love you slow-never will I haste
Shadows in the Twilight are a beauty to behold
Silhouettes on a darkened Sky so brilliant and so bold
But honey when it comes to love - yours I'll never trade
Unlike the shades of Twilight our love will never fade.
