~~~LITTLE SPARROW~~~
Native beauty skin burnt brown
Living near old shanty town
Tepee tall with painted markings
Dappled ponies graze nearby
Muted woof's from old dogs barking
Wispy smoke drifts to the sky
Feel the drum beats pulsing outward
Tom-tom Playing rhythmic tones
Native beauty Little Sparrow
Sings her dulcet melodrones
As she waits inside her tepee
For her Brave-Heart to arrive
Many moons he travels to her
Across wide oceans and countryside's
For he comes from King George country
With his uniform of red
Comes to marry Little Sparrow
Put eagle feathers on his head
Little Sparrows heart beats faster
Like the drums beat playing loud
As Brave-Heart opens up her tepee
Sweeps her off her painted feet
Holds her slender body skyward
Before their lips together meet
Her Forefathers had foretold this
In a dream-state they had seen
Redcoat BraveHeart with Little Sparrow
Both entwined in a loving scene
They will all live happy; after
All the smoke and drums are gone
Living in their painted tepee
Little Sparrow sings in native tongue
