 MY POETRY
A light, shone into my heart,
The day that I met you.
Its been so long awaited,
Went past the darkness,
And pierced right through.
The blackness melted quickly,
As your love resided there.
Warming me up within; with
A glow which was sincere.
I'd doubted love so long,
I dared not think it true.
But as your love nestled there,
I knew it came from you.
Our ages are so different,
Our cultures not the same,
But as you snuggled in my heart,
You vanquished all my pain.
I now know love for all its worth,
The power you gave to me,
To once again pick up my pen
And write My Poetry...
