'A Tribute To The Virtue That Burns
Bright In The Heart Of Every Firefighter.'
Choking black smoke billows from exploding Windows,
hot Ashes spraying in every direction
Our Firefighters are Heroes, they are here for our protection
Raging Flames hunger to consume everything in their path
So hot and filled with Wrath

Weakened roofs teeter on the edge of collapse
not able to withstand the heat and force of the Fire
Our Heroes wear heavy, protective attire
Lives hang in the balance - no time to think twice
They enter a Firewall, Praying for strength against this Vice
~♥~♥~
Their Physical Strength and Mental Fortitude are tested every day
They work with agility and stamina - come what may
It is the Courage in their Hearts
that ultimately gets them through
They deserve an Award for being an outstanding Crew
~♥~♥~
Putting themselves in harm's way to help
those in desperate need
The dead bodies they see,
makes their Hearts bleed
They are selfless Heroes one and all,
willing to risk their own lives
answering to their call
They are Angels of God in our Eyes,
and even after the long Hours of saving Lives,
they can stand proud and tall.
