What forces are at work as we speak
Is it intervention? Something divine?
Or is it the wickedness of self loathing,
from an ego that is far from sublime?

Are these the acts of divinity or demise?
Is it all just one great big disguise?
Will someone please tell me what is really going on?

What's really going on in your mind and mine?
Are our thoughts sublime?
Something that will be proven in time?
Can you feel my heart breaking?
Taking me over the line.
A line you created that was just above mine.

I have been knocked off the throne in which I sit.
Falling ever so quickly,
I refuse a hard hit.
I shall fight against this line of time,
All my strength and might, I will fight!
