 CORN
COB PIPE
The harvest has arrived
Ears of golden corn hidden
By stalks of green

Native Americans offer gifts
Of nature for ungrateful guests
~+~
A jolly green giant chuckles
As he looks down upon
The valley while
Silly little sprout
Cuts the kernels off the cobs
And disregards the makings of
A pipe factory not even saving
One for a peace pipe
so much for world peace
